Fragmentations (Works in progress)

I use the concept of home as a container for memory. I see the domestic space as an opportunity to research the pieces of memory based on personal and individual perspectives, while playing on perceptions and expectations of space. I investigate the idea of memory and the illusion of reality through the creation of mock spaces, textiles, and found materials.

I am expanding and furthering these ideas in a new body of work that will include more physicality of the materials using printmaking and sculpture to create an installation that will be evocative of domestic spaces and past memories.
